Forecast: Changeable

  • Mathilde Barbier | dare to be the change

Every morning I open the blinds and check the sky before I step into the day. Living in Britain means the weather can shift from sunshine to showers in a heartbeat, and peri/menopause can feel much the same. One moment clear skies, the next a sudden heatwave or emotional drizzle. Just as the weather keeps us talking, our inner weather tells its own story. What is your inner weather telling you today?

Making room for Change

  • Mathilde Barbier | dare to be the change

When I moved to East Sussex, I swore I’d never move again. Packing boxes felt like a full-body workout for muscles, emotions and mind. Yet somewhere between the clutter and the clearing, I realised how much lighter I felt. How might a little more space change the way you feel, think, or move through your days?

Summer is on our doorstep, bringing more light and of course, the longest days of the year. Landscapes brighten, colours intensify and temperatures rise (well, we hope so!). Nature stretches, uncurls, opens-up and flourishes … and so can we!

Circle: Where Your Story Matters

  • Mathilde Barbier | dare to be the change

Circles take many shapes and forms. Some gather early in the morning to set the day, others meet by candlelight. They happen in living rooms, on beaches, in forest clearings, town halls, wherever there’s space to sit and be human for a while...

Transforming Life One Tile at a Time

  • Mathilde Barbier | dare to be the change

Have you ever looked at a mosaic up close? A jumble of broken bits, scattered in a seemingly random pattern. Then step back and suddenly, it is breathtaking, a masterpiece of colour, light, shades and story. * Life, my friend, is no different! It isn't about creating a perfect picture, it is about ...

Follow your nose

  • Mathilde Barbier

Whether you like it or not, you smell. I can see your nostrils twitching slightly as you are suddenly more aware of your nose and seeing if can ‘smell anything’ right now! Smell is our most primitive sense and is essential for our survival. When was last time you truly smelled something?

What's wrong with me?

  • Mathilde Barbier

Something has been happening. It’s been happening gradually. And I don’t like it at all. What’s wrong with me? In the last few years, I have been asking myself this question far too often! ... and then the penny dropped … Could it be menopause related?
