When do I start and what happens next?

  • Upon signup you will create a login with username and password to the online course platform
  • You will also receive a welcome email with an onboarding set of information on how to prepare for and make the best of the course.
  • On the following day, you will receive an email reminder that day 1 is available. You can start when you wish, keeping in mind that the content will be available for a month.

How is the course structured?

Each day, for 7 days you will have access to the following:
- 1 daily reminder by email
- 1 audio message of up to 5min 
- 1 downloadable transcript of the audio
- 1 task to refer to in the workbook

+ BONUS item: a free 5min guided exercise to take a break from your tech.

What if I miss a day?

This course is self-paced, you can login to the platform and resume the course where you left it within the year of its availability - I recommend you do your best to complete the 7 days in a maximum of 10 days to enjoy its full benefits. You can then repeat is as often as you wish for a year.

Will I have time for this?

The course is designed to fit into and around your life.

Each day an email will let you know that you can now access your short (less than 5 min audio) - you could listen with your morning coffee or on your way to work.  

You will also have a worksheet to complete - this is of course optional, but you will get the most out of the course if you invest a few minutes each day to complete the worksheets.

An online course to help me use technology less, isn’t it paradoxical?

Yes … I get your point, I’m very conscious that it might seem strange to offer an online course. Technology is allowing me to share this course and allowing you to access it, I invite you to use it in a balanced, mindful way so it serves you and your unique individual needs. 

What this course is NOT

A digital detox program. This is not about going cold turkey on our phone or treating it as unhealthy or evil .... It is about raising awareness of the place our mobile phone has in our life and observing whether it fits in with the role we want it to have.
